This stock medical exhibit demonstrates a bilateral cervical facet block injection. Using a left lateral view, the first image (left) orients the viewer to the area of focus on the cervical spine. The next image (upper right) is a superior view of the cervical spinal chord at the C5 level showing the positioning of the needle for performing the block. The facet, the spinal chord, and the medial branch of the dorsal ramus of the spinal nerve are clearly labeled.
