Left Shoulder Injuries with Arthroscopic Repairs

ID: exh69987a
This exhibit begins with one anterior skeletal view of the left shoulder region illustrating the pre-operative condition. This image clearly reveals the tear of the rotator cuff, as well as the fraying of the anterior and superior aspects of the glenoid labrum. Also, four steps of the cuff repair and labrum debridement procedure are illustrated in graphic detail based on operative dictation from the procedure. The steps include the insertion of the arthroscopic instruments into the shoulder joint, the labrum debridement, acromioplasty and insertion of suture anchors to secure the torn rotator cuff.
