Surgical Kyphoplasty at T12

ID: exh73779a
This stock medical exhibit describes multiple steps of a surgical kyphoplasty at the T12 level. It begins with a sagittal view of a spine with a compression fracture at T12, and 14 gauge needles in place at this level. The next three images are zoomed in closer to the T12 level, and show the drilling of the vertebral body, insertion and inflation of bone tamps to restore vertebral height, and injection of bone filler to permanently fix the fracture.
