Left Shoulder Injury with Surgical Replacement

ID: exh61025
This exhibit begins with one anterior skeletal view of the left shoulder region revealing the displaced fracture of the humeral head. This image is directly based of the actual pre-operative film. Three steps of the hemiarthroplasty procedure are shown including the incision, the removal of the humeral head and the insertion of the prosthesis and finally the reattachment of the musculature. The final post-operative x-ray is also included.
