This stock medical exhibit begins with a sagittal view of the preoperative lumbar spine directly based off an actual MRI film print. In this view disc herniations at L4-5 and L5-S1 are clearly visible. The preoperative condition is followed by four steps of the surgical decompression procedure including a midline incision into the lower back, bilateral revision laminotomies at L5-S1 and a right sided foraminotomy, bilateral laminotomies at L4-5 and discectomies performed at Lf-5 and L5-S1.
