This exhibit depicts a large retroperitoneal hematoma from a perforation to the abdominal aorta and shows surgical steps involved in the repair of the abdominal aorta including clamping of the aorta, cutting the injured segment and replacing it with Dacron graft. Blood transfusion is represented here with cell saver, crystalloid and 8 units of blood.
