This stock medical exhibit shows a post-accident skull fracture and brain injuries in a series of illustrations. The first illustration shows a depressed fracture of the temporal and parietal bones in a left lateral view of the skull. The second illustration indicates the plane of section for the third illustration. The third illustration shows brain injuries in an axial section through the skull and brain, including a right shift of midline structures, intra-parenchymal hemorrhage of the brain, subarachnoid hemorrhage, blood in the ventricles and a depressed temporoparietal fracture of the skull.
