The following views are illustrated: 1- Normal heart and bicuspid (aortic) valve function. 2- Early stages of endocarditis with vegetative growth on the valve leaflets. 3- Advanced endocarditis with increased vegetative growth resulting in the incomplete closure of the valve leaflets and leakage of blood.
