Right Shoulder Injury with Initial Arthroscopic Repairs

ID: exh61224b
This medical exhibit begins with one lateral view of the left elbow region with the skin and subcutaneous tissue removed offering a clear view of the bones, muscles and tendons in this region. This image illustrates the pre-operative condition with chronic inflammation of the lateral epicondyle and tear of the attached tendon. Three steps of the surgical procedure will be illustrated step by step. These images show the open exposure of the lateral epicondyle and the debridement of both bone and tendon and the suture repair of the remaining tendon segments.
