Specifically shown in this case are four surgical steps detailing the following: A- A curvilinear incision is made over the distal tibia. B- The fractures are reduced using cannulated screws and a guide wire. C- A second incision expose the fracture of the distal fibula. A lag screw is placed to reduce the fracture. D- A small incision is made distally and a six-hole plate is passed subcutaneously along the fibula. Screws are used to complete the fixation.
