Post-traumatic Trimalleolar Fracture of the Right Ankle

This board illustrates the post-accident damage to the client’s ankle in both anterior and lateral views. There is a orientation view of the bones of the lower leg with labels for the fibula, tibia, and talus. The lateral view of the fractured ankle is illustrated with the patient’s film and a color interpretation. The fractures at the posterior malleolus and distal fibular metaphysis are highlighted and labeled. Below that is a film and color interpretation of the anterior of the patient’s foot, highlighting the fracture in the distal fibular metaphysis again, as well as a fracture in the medial malleolus down to the tibial talar joint.
