Right Calcaneal Fracture with Surgical Fixation

This exhibit depicts a comminuted fracture of the calcaneus with a Bohler's angle of 5º to 15º degrees which was not properly diagnosed and resulted in deformity of the calcaneus and malunion. This is repaired by performing osteotomy and placement of multiple screws. The talocalcaneal joint is decorticated and fused together. Also shown is a percutaneous release of the Achilles tendon with a triple cut.
