Injury of the ankle depicts a complete anterior dislocation of the distal tibia and fibula, comminuted intraarticular fracture of the distal tibia involving the medial malleolus and posterior malleolus. Comminuted fracture of the distal fibula and tear of the syndesmosis. Two incisions are made to fixate the tibial fractures and the fibular fractures. Three plates an multiple screws are used to stabilize the ankle.
